Mr. Hwang was appointed, on July 9, 2023, as Chief of Staffs and Chief Strategy Officer of one of the political candidates for the next mayoral election in the City of Memphis.

The 2023 Memphis mayoral election will take place on October 5, 2023(Thursday).
